Casual dinnerware should always be discount dinnerware because you’re going to use it and replace it more than other kitchen and dinnerware items. Depends on what you buy. Sushi sets are likely to be more delicately crafted than stoneware dinnerware. A Porcelain Dish definitely won’t last like a Stainless Steel dish. Match pewter does not contain lead and is completely food safe. Not recommended for the dishwasher. Hand-made in Italy. Pewter tarnishes very slowly and requires almost no maintenance. Should you want to polish your pewter almost any polish will do (read the directions before using). Match recommends Cape Cod Metal Polish.
